My Vision
“If we opened people up, we’d find landscapes” is my favorite quote from my favorite filmmaker, Agnès Varda. I think it explains why I’m drawn to storytelling, and why film and community building have always felt connected to me.
Growing up around film sets taught me to pay attention to people. I love that a story can shift how someone sees another person, or even a subject they thought they understood. That small shift in perspective is what I keep coming back to in what I create.
Over time, that curiosity has expanded beyond the story itself. I’ve become just as interested in how stories find their audiences, and the ways people gather around the things they care about.

Selected Works
A selection of films that represent the core of my directorial vision and storytelling style
Film 1:

Graduation, a short film
Graduation is a 12 minute drama that I directed, set against the backdrop of Hong Kong where I grew up. The film explores childhood grief and the caregivers whose love shapes a family, even when their labor often goes unseen.
Film 2:

The Hatch, a short film
The Hatch is where I honed in on how Mise-en-scène can elevate storytelling. Inspired by Wes Anderson's dollhouse precision, I tell a story of a mysterious crime set in an unusual restaurant.
